Kathryn, you are taking after your grandpa Garvin who ended up in the hospital after having a midnight snack on an orange! Of course, he was on blood thinners and there was always more drama. You aren't used to good knives either! That's the problem. We always had hardware knives that were used for everything and so they were pretty dull. Maybe your hubby should do the cutting; I think he's been around sharp knives before!
And . . . . BTW I'm waiting to hear if school is cancelled for the third day in a row due to ice! It's been a nice vacation for all of up here. So brag away about your good weather all you want. You guys are teaching your little hearts out while the teachers up here are baking, shopping, going out to lunch, mailing off packages, going hunting for deer! Michigan has got its perks. Gotta put things in perspective. Too bad you have to work every day! Ha Ha
