Today we took advantage of the sunshine. We just got back from a relaxing day at the beach. Since we went at low tide, there were lots of cool shells and little crawling creatures trying to find new homes... Chris even found a sand dollar! We also saw some really huge clams left behind by the tide. After taking a nice, long walk on the beach, we headed into downtown Charleston. It was such a relaxing day!
Chris turned on the TV in the living room a few minutes ago and there was an "Emergency Test" on the channel he turned it to. I was in the spare bedroom grabbing a book, and all the sudden heard Kudzu loudly imitating the blaring noise of the test. I walked out into the living room and saw that Chris had the same flabbergasted reaction that I had. It was so funny! We think that Kudzu does this to remind us that he has the capability to respond/imitate, but only uses it when he wants to... stubborn bird! Ha ha! Chris immediately took a picture of Kudzu after this silly episode.

I don't see any sharks! Kudzu must be on the lookout. Looks like good swimming weather. Just as soon as I get done playing with mommy, I'll be there. She doesn't have school again. Yippee Yippee. Another free day!
