On Valentine's Day Emma laughed for the first time. It was kind of hesitant laugh, like she didn't quite know what she was doing, but definitely one nonetheless. Yesterday I was upstairs getting her ready for a bath and playing with her when she did it again. I called Chris upstairs and showed him. It was so funny and cute. Her little toothless grin already melts our hearts, but this just added a whole new layer to her adorableness.
I ran down to the living room to get the camera and brought it up. Then we realized that there wasn't a memory stick in it because I had just been loading pictures to the computer. I hurried back downstairs and returned to Emma's room with the memory stick. Of course, by that point, Emma must have been bored with our efforts to keep her laughing; she just kept teasing us with her wide-open smile.
Hopefully this weekend we can capture her laughing on film. It's the best!
Being Emma's mom is amazing. Chris and I are so lucky to have her.
