Yesterday was Chris' birthday. At 3am, we woke up to Emma sitting up in bed and clapping. She is so funny! Unfortunately that was about the time Chris had to get up for work... But he said it was a good day. When he got home he opened presents and then we went to La Careta for dinner. It was delicious, as always! We had cake when we got home. Emma wasn't too sure what to think about the "sparkler" candles I bought!
On Saturday we're going to re-celebrate by going out to dinner in Shem Creek. It should be fun!
Another thing that happened yesterday was Emma saying "Mama". I heard her say it twice! It sounded like "Maaa-ma!" and then again... It was so cute!
