I can't believe Emma's almost a year old! What a wonderful time we've had with her! She's been learning new things everyday it seems. For being only 11 months old, she is so observant and it amazes (and scares!) me about what she picks up on.
She can...
-Say hi, Mama, Dada, Dah (dog)
-Combine "hi" + one of the above words
-Take 5 steps unassisted/ with no support
-Stand unassisted/with no support
-Clap her hands
-Wave when we say "hi" or "bye" or when she sees a car drive by the house
-Shake head for "no" (we have NO IDEA where she learned this!)
-Climb onto PowerWheels by herself
-Climb the whole flight of stairs without help (which is why we have gates!!!)
-"talk on phone" when we say "hello"
-Drink using a straw
-Hold and take bites from an apple
-Take her shirt off after her arms are out of the holes
And I'm sure there's more that I can't remember right now...
We feel so blessed to be Emma Kate's parents. She is such a wonderful gift.
