Usually I would be at school right now, dead in the middle of my first two-hour block. Instead, I am at home with Chris, enjoying Spring Break. We were planning on raking up all the old pine straw today and putting new stuff down but we're kind of waiting on the weather. It's a really dark day but was 70 by 8am. We've got a tornado watch til 1 and it looks like it could rain any second.
Yesterday Sawyer played with his new best friend, Lucky, our neighbors' Golden Retriever. Thankfully, all the running around wore them both out. Sawyer also rode in Chris' new car for the first time yesterday. It was a new experience for him because Chris installed a gate so he had to stay in the very back. He cried a little bit but I think he'll get used to it. He won't be allowed near the seats anymore in order to get used to the baby.
We had some gorgeous weather on Saturday. I mean sunny, warm and just absolutely perfect. We went to the Flowertown Festival and had a leisurely time walking around looking at all the craft booths and talking to a few people.
