After a busy week of moving, unpacking and becoming more familiar with our new jobs, Chris and I needed a break! On Saturday, after shopping at the Education Station, we went to Folly Beach. The ocean was so warm! We played in the waves, collected shells and walked along the beach. After that, we drove to Charleston. We toured all around the old French Quarters and along the boardwalk. It was beautiful! On our way back to Summerville, we found a nice big mall! What a relaxing day...
The picture that looks like a field is actually a huge expanse of wetland. There were huge, deep
canals throughout it with enormous boats anchored throughout. From a distance, it looked like boats just sitting out in the middle of a field. :)

You guys looks so happy. Marriage certainly agrees with you. Nice to leave some of the stressful stuff behind and get on with your own lives, I'll bet. The realily of you being away is settling in and Piper really misses you! Ha Ha! I love you guys, Mom
Happy Birthday, Kathryn! Today is much different than the first day we met. It's cold and rainy in Michigan. You are so far away now and I miss you terribly. I'm so glad that you and Chris are happy and enjoying each other and your new jobs. I can't believe that you are all grown up and a high school teacher! It must be so exciting
to be enjoying your new home and jobs with your best friend. Still miss ya but that's a mom for you.
